Grandmother's Tree

This year I have decided to join (Loose and Leafty) quest of 'Tree Following'...

My tree I have chosen is a little close to my heart!
It is a memorial tree we had put in a local Victorian garden. Where I use to play as a child.

The tree is my Grandmother's!
As you might guess this tree is pretty special to all of us in my family.

I know there will be some people out there thinking its just a tree.  Well to me and family it means more to us!  Anyone who as one of these memorial trees will understand.

A little bit of history.

Twelve year's ago a Cherry Blossom tree was planted!

Twelve year's ago also my mother and her three sister's all met for the very first time!

Each season I followed the Cherry Blossom and reported back to my aunt's and other family members! There isn't many of us that live near to the tree.

Until one day I went and I notice there was no buds on it at all.  I lefted it a little while as I knew the tree was a late at flowering one.

When I finally went back to my shock horror a branch had snapped off. My questions were, how? Who? Was it the weather? Was it youths? or somethink else?

In the end the blossom tree had to be replace. That was six years ago!

~~~~~~~
I have followed the new tree for the last six years!
But I'm not sure - well I know who replace the tree might of never put a Cherry Blossom in its place....
So I'm on my own little mission this year - to find out what is the tree, I love and care about so much!
